Šodroš Survivor Camp - Dunavac cleanup

We would like to clean an area near the Danube called Dunavac - Šodroš.

We are a group of people called Šodroš SURVIVOR camp, who are dedicated to the preservation and protection of this beautiful area near the Danube.

Dunavac is a backwater of the Danube and Šodroš is the unique urban forest located nearby, just a few kilometres away from the downtown of Novi Sad.

This area of the Danube, including Ribarsko ostrvo, is extremely important for Novi Sad. It is identified as the natural flood defense for the city and a habitat of 200 strictly protected and protected wild species.

In addition, this whole area of the Danube with its riverbank, including Ribarsko Ostrvo, is marked as the ecological corridor of international importance.
